11:33 PM ETFC was dispatched to multiple transformer fires. Immediately following a storm that passed through our area two transformers were smoking and eventually caught fire. PECO was called to shut down the power so the crews could extinguish the fires. The fires were extinguished without incident and the crews returned to their stations. It was a long night for most as crews returned to clean and pack equipment used and finally left for homes around 04:00 AM. ETFC would like to thank all the responding fire companies for their assistance in containing the incident.
